Cape May Court House, NJ – Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Family and Community Health Sciences (FCHS) Program will hold a Kids Cooking Club Summer Camp, for children in grades 3 through 5, Monday, July 27 through Thursday, July 30, 2026. The program will take place from 9am to 1pm at Rutgers Cooperative Extension, 355 Courthouse-South Dennis Road, CMCH, NJ 08210.
Kids Cooking Club Camp is a hands-on cooking experience. Campers will explore a teaching garden, harvest ingredients, and make delicious recipes with fresh produce. The children will also learn about fruits and vegetables that are grown in the Garden State. Additionally, campers will make their own lunch each day, so lunch is included!
The instructor of the Kids Cooking Club Summer Camp is Anneliese Kuemmerle, MS, RDN, Program Associate II, Cape May County. “Kids Cooking Club Summer Camp gives children the chance to discover how our food grows, and how fun cooking can be! We are excited to offer a fully hands-on garden-to-table experience while fostering campers’ confidence, creativity, and kitchen skills,” said Kuemmerle.
The cost to attend camp is $175. Spaces are limited; therefore, registration is required by July 20, 2026. Please register at https://go.rutgers.edu/8jj8gips.
