Cape May Court House, NJ– Are you looking for moments of calm, peace and focus in your daily life? Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Family and Community Health Sciences (FCHS) Program will hold the Lunch & Learn Program: Mindfulness for Stress Reduction from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022.
This presentation is part of the virtual Lunch & Learn series, presented by Chris Zellers, Cape May County FCHS Educator/Assistant Professor, offered the 4th Thursday of the month except for the months of June, November, and December. This series allows viewers a chance to have lunch, while at work or at home, and learn about a variety of wellness topics at the same time.
This month, the focus will be Mindfulness. Brief moments of mindfulness can help reduce stress, anxiety and help clear your mind. Zellers said, “We will discuss the benefits of reduced stress, encourage several simple mindfulness techniques, and practice mindful meditation that anyone can do to help them get through a busy day.”
