Cape May Court House – Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources will hold the workshop, “Gardening in Small Spaces,” on Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Rutgers Cooperative Extension, 355 Courthouse – South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
The presenter will be Jen Sawyer Caraballo, ANR County Program Associate for Commercial Agriculture, RCE Cape May County. Participants of the workshop will learn site and container selection, growing vegetables and flowers, and the best varieties to grow in South Jersey.
“Gardening at home has become very popular in the past few years with people spending more time at home. It is a productive and relaxing way to pass the time, and, in the end, you have fresh fruits and vegetables to enjoy for your efforts,” said Claudia Gil Arroyo, Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent, RCE Cape May County. “This workshop will teach you the basics, so you can start gardening at home no matter how small your space is,” Added Gil Arroyo.
