Cape May Court House, NJ – Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Family and Community Health Sciences (FCHS) Program will hold the virtual Lunch & Learn Program: Mediterranean Diet from 12:30 to 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023.
This presentation is part of the virtual Lunch & Learn series, presented by Chris Zellers, Cape May County FCHS Educator/Assistant Professor. This series allows viewers a chance to have lunch, while at work or at home, and learn about a variety of wellness topics at the same time.
This program will focus on the Mediterranean Diet. The program will create an understanding of what the Mediterranean Diet is, introduce the benefits of the Mediterranean Diet and give tips on fitting the Mediterranean Diet into your life. Zellers said, “The Mediterranean Diet has been associated with longer and healthier lives and is based on countries around the Mediterranean Sea that encourages healthy food, activity, and social ties.”
