Cape May Court House – The Cape May County 4-H Foundation, Inc. is happy to announce that the 2024 Cape May County 4-H Fair will be held on July 18-19-20 on the 4-H Fairgrounds. Admission to the 4-H Fair is free!
After breaking attendance records for the past two years, everyone is working hard to make this year’s fair even better. “We are very excited about this year’s theme from author Dr. Seuss, “Oh, the Places We Will Go With 4-H! We are looking forward to highlighting our 4-H kids’ projects and accomplishments at the fair. As Dr. Seuss says, ‘The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go. Wherever you fly, you’ll be best of the best.’ And that is what 4-H is about, providing the opportunities to Make the Best Better” said Lisa McVey, President of the Cape May County 4-H Foundation and 4-H Fair Chair.
The 4-H Fair is a Cape May County tradition that offers family entertainment, live music, and a nightly Chicken BBQ, sponsored by the Cape May County Board of Agriculture. Amusement rides, games, and a variety of vendors with delicious food and interesting items will keep the 4-H Fairground’s Midway buzzing with excitement.
Other fair favorites include livestock and equestrian shows, a children’s discovery farm, and our popular Pet Show.
The public hours for the 2024 Cape May County 4-H Fair are 3 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 18 and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20. The 4-H fairgrounds are located at 355 Court House – S. Dennis Road in Cape May Court House, New Jersey.
The Cape May County 4-H Fair is the major fundraising effort of the 4-H Foundation, Inc. It provides a showplace for the project work and accomplishments of the youth members of Rutgers Cooperative Extension’s 4-H Youth Development Program and a fun, family-oriented community gathering.
Volunteers are always needed to assist at the 4-H Fair. For more information about the 4-H Fair, please call (609) 465-5115 ext. 3605, visit cmc4h.com, like us on Facebook at Cape May 4-H, or on Instagram at cape_may_4h.
