Cape May Court House – Learn how to turn your backyard into a healthy habitat for native wildlife at a special class presented by Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Gardening for Wildlife in South Jersey will take place on Wednesday, October 23rd from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Rutgers Cooperative Extension, 355 Courthouse – South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
The presenter will be Adehl Schwaderer, Program Coordinator, Cape May Bird Observatory, New Jersey Audubon. Participants will gain a better understanding of how to transform their backyard into a haven for native species. Plus, learn which plants work best in their garden in South Jersey. “We are seeing a greater interest in growing native plants and many people want to create a healthy habitat for native wildlife. We’re excited to collaborate with Adehl again,” said Jennifer Sawyer Caraballo, Agriculture and Natural Resources Program Associate.
