Cape May Court House – Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County is offering Rutgers Master Gardener volunteer training beginning January 2025.
Online orientation/information sessions about the 2025 Rutgers Master Gardener Training Program are available now. These information sessions are free, with no obligation to enroll in the program, but are required to sign up for the Rutgers Master Gardener Training program in Cape May County.
The purpose of the orientation is to provide you with all the information you need to decide if becoming a Rutgers Master Gardener is right for you. We will review the program’s role, structure, training, and commitment.
“We are rebuilding our county’s Rutgers Master Gardener Volunteer Program. Cape May County is part of a pilot training program with eight other counties, that begins in January 2025. We’re happy to have anyone interested in becoming an RMG volunteer sign up for one of the orientation sessions,” said Jen Sawyer Caraballo, RMG Coordinator for CMC.
Space is limited to 40 participants at each session, allowing plenty of time and opportunity for questions and discussion. Register today to secure your spot! Please note there are both morning and evening sessions available and you are only required to attend one session. Additional information for applying to the program will be provided to those who attend. To register for one of the sessions go to: https://njaes.rutgers.edu/master-gardeners/
