Cape May Court House- The Cape May County 4-H Youth Development Program participated in 4-H Day at Tractor Supply (TSC) in Rio Grande on November 30, 2024 to mark the start of the Fall fundraising Campaign which runs through December 14, 2024.
4-H members and volunteers representing some of our more than 25 4-H Clubs were on hand with information, fun activities, and to greet shoppers and help them carry their purchases. 4-H Clubs participating in the third 4-H Day included Lambs R Us, Canvas & Brush, Milky Ways, Science Rocks, Fox Wood Friends, and Archers of America.
“We would like to thank John Knecht, Manager of TSC Rio Grande and the employees at the store who were very supportive and kind to our volunteers,” said Linda Horner, CMC 4-H Program Coordinator. “Also, thank you to the club leaders, 4-H youth and parents who helped make it an amazing day at TSC,” added Horner.
The 4-H Paper Clover Campaign gives shoppers at any of the 20 Tractor Supply Company stores located in New Jersey, including the one located at 3810 Route 9 South in Rio Grande, NJ, the opportunity to support the New Jersey 4-H Program by purchasing paper clovers at checkout while in a store or online at the TSC website https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/cms/4h.
Money raised at the Rio Grande Store directly benefits the Cape May County 4-H Youth Development Program. The funds provide scholarships for Cape May County 4-H members to participate in valuable national 4-H leadership experiences and state camping programs.
