Cape May Court House – The Little Critters and the Clover Kids Cape May County 4-H Clubs collected items for donation to the Branches of Cape May County Food Pantry.
“A few weeks ago, The Branches posted on Facebook a list of the most needed items to restock their bare shelves. Both 4-H clubs decided to collect items to help re-stock the Branches Pantry,” said Donna Griebau, Cape May County 4-H Program Associate II.
The Branches Food Pantry is located at 3401 Rt. 47, Unit AJ, Rio Grande, NJ – in the Village Shoppes Center and is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 9 am and 12 pm. The Food Pantry offers free perishable and non-perishable groceries, personal care items, and some household items based on family size. If you or someone you know needs food, call 609-886-5091 and leave a message.
The Little Critters 4-H Club, open to youth in kindergarten through 8th grade, explores the world of small animals and helps families select the right pet for their family. The Clover Kids 4-H Club, for youth in kindergarten through 3rd grade, meets monthly at the Nature Center of Cape May and is open to the public. Through hands-on activities, the participants learn about plants, insects, and animals.
