Cape May Court House, NJ – Rutgers Cooperative Extension Family and Community Health Sciences Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group will hold a meeting on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 5pm to 6:30pm at Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County, 355 Courthouse-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, New Jersey. The building is handicapped accessible.
The topic will be Sound Health Meditation with presenter Chrissy Ennis, Energy Healing Practitioner and owner of Radiant Pixies LLC. According to Ennis, Sound healing puts your body into the parasympathetic state which affects you on an emotional and a physiological level and helps bring your nervous system into balance.
The Grandparents Raising Grandchildren program meets 10 months each year providing information and support to Cape May County grandparents who are raising their grandchildren. New families are always welcome at the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group. Upcoming meetings will include programs on legal issues such as wills and guardianship and a variety of wellness and other topics.
Childcare will be provided for the grandchildren, and a light supper will be served at 5pm with the program following at 5:30pm. There is no charge for this program, however, advanced registration is required by May 15, 2025.
