Cape May Court House – Dogs just want to have fun too! Bring your dog to the Cape May County 4-H Fairgrounds, rain or shine, Sunday, September 21, 2025, for the first 4-H Dog Fun Day. The fun will happen from 11 am to 3 pm on the 4-H fairgrounds, 355 Court House – South Dennis Road, CMCH, NJ 08210. The event is free, including free parking, and is open to the public. Dogs must be on a 6-foot leash, well-mannered and current on their shots.
The 4-H Dog Fun Day will include a 1-mile dog fun walk, demonstrations, a variety of vendors, food trucks, contests, and more. Vendors include Made by Real Hands-knitted and crochet items, Hound Wagging Dog Treats-all natural treats, pony rides and petting zoo by Edge of the Woods Farm, and Happy Daisy Face Painting. Food trucks confirmed are Zestie Bestie with specialty lemonade, Caiden’s Sweet Tooth offering pancakes, waffles and boba drinks, and Beef and Buns serving hotdogs, nachos, chips, and snow cones.
Demonstrations and activity stations will include the canine good citizen program, dog agility demonstrations, seeing eye dog demonstrations, rally dog obedience course, blender bike with pup cups, pet photos, self-lead skill-a-thon, and a dog fun show and costume contest. There will also be a 1-mile dog fun walk course that anyone with a dog can complete at their own pace at any time during the event.
“This event is designed to be a fun day out with your furry best friend. Bring a lawn chair and spend the day,” said Donna Griebau, 4-H Program Associate for Cape May County.
