Cape May Court House – Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources presents the workshop Growing Microgreens on Thursday, February 12, 2026. The program will take place from 6pm to 8pm at Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County, 355 Court House – South Dennis Road, CMCH, NJ 08210.
This workshop is part of the 2026 Garden & Grow series. The goal of the series is to teach locals how to improve or expand their home gardens in new ways.
The presenters will be Jen Sawyer Caraballo, ANR Program Associate II and Anneliese Kuemmerle, MS, RDN, FCHS Program Associate II. Participants will learn what microgreens are, health benefits, using microgreens in the kitchen, safety tips, and how to grow microgreens. Also, participants will plant four trays of microgreen seeds to take home.
“Microgreens are easy to grow indoors and a great way to add some freshness to your winter meals,” said Sawyer Caraballo.
