Rutgers Cooperative Extension Presents Eat What You Grow: Winter Workshop February 2026
Cape May Court House, NJ – Rutgers Cooperative Extension (RCE) of Cape May County Family & Community Health Sciences and Agriculture & Natural Resources Departments will present the workshop series, Eat What You Grow 2026. This series will consist of four seasonal sessions offered in February, April, June, and October.
The first class, Eat What You Grow: Winter will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 6 to 8pm at Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County, 355 Court House-South Dennis Road, CMCH, NJ 08210. The presenters will be RCE of Cape May County’s Anneliese Kuemmerle, MS, RDN, FCHS Program Associate II and Jen Sawyer Caraballo, ANR Program Associate II.
This program will discuss growing cool season crops, starting herbs and greens from seed, the health benefits of gardening and using herbs, as well as prepping the pantry for the gardening season. Also, participants will take home seed starts and more!
“Jen and I are excited to share our passion for gardening by inviting our community to learn about cool-season crops, seed starting, and the many ways gardening can improve our health and wellness,” said Kuemmerle.
