Cape May Court House, NJ – Rutgers Cooperative Extension (RCE) of Cape May County Family and Community Health Sciences (FCHS) Program will hold the virtual Lunch & Learn Program, The Living Pantry: Using Herbs in the Kitchen from 12:30 to 1pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
The presenter will be Anneliese Kuemmerle, MS, RDN, Program Associate II, FCHS, RCE, Cape May County. “We’re excited to show how simple it can be to grow and enjoy herbs at home. Using herbs is a great way to make healthy eating more flavorful, rewarding, and fun,” said Kuemmerle.
Participants will learn health benefits of growing and using herbs, ways to enjoy herbs, and storing and preserving herbs. Participants will also learn how to add flavor to summer drinks and dishes without the fuss of added salt, sugar, and fat.
The virtual Lunch & Learn Series provides viewers with health and wellness information during their lunch hour. Topics vary and allow participants a chance to grab a healthy half hour tidbit of wellness to carry throughout the day.
