Cape May Court House – Cape May County 4-H members participated at a 4-H Public Presentations Workshop to learn the basics of how to give a 4-H Public Presentation. The “Survivor” workshop, hosted by the 4-H Teen Ambassadors club, took place on February 17, 2022 at the Lockwood 4-H Youth Center.
4-H members learned from their peers what they needed to know to create a successful presentation while playing games and having fun at the same time. “In Cape May County, we have seen a change in our 4-H Youth Development Program with a majority of our membership being very young and new to the concept of speaking in public – which can be challenging for anyone,” said Linda Horner, Cape May County 4-H Program Coordinator.
Cape May County 4-H Public Presentations will take place March 14th – 19th in the classrooms of AtlanticCape Community College and at the Lockwood 4-H Youth Center. They are an important annual event for all 4-H members from kindergarten through one year out of high school.
