Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources will hold the workshop, Culinary and Medicinal uses of Garden Herbs, on Wednesday, March 22nd from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Rutgers Cooperative Extension, 355 Courthouse – South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
The workshop main presenter will be Norma Lindbloom-Cruz, Certified Herbalist. She will focus on culinary and medicinal uses of garden herbs including identifying garden herbs by using both their common and Latin names, discussing traditional culinary uses of the presented herbs, and learn the medicinal uses of the herbs displayed. Additionally, co-presenter Jen Sawyer Caraballo, ANR County Program Associate for Commercial Agriculture, RCE Cape May County will discuss how to best grow herbs at home.
