Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources will hold the workshop, Better Backyard Composting, on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Rutgers Cooperative Extension, 355 Courthouse – South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
The presenter will be Lin Conover, owner of Wood Song Mushrooms. Participants of Better Backyard Composting, part of the Garden & Grow workshop series, will learn the process of composting, the science behind composting, why compost is good for your plants and the planet, and how to compost at home.
This is a beginner class; therefore, no experience is needed. The cost to attend is $5 and light refreshments will be provided. Seats are limited, pre-register at https://go.rutgers.edu/c3nbac6b.
