Cape May Court House – The Cape May County 4-H Foundation, Inc. is happy to announce that the 2025 Cape May County 4-H Fair will be held on July 17-18-19 on the 4-H Fairgrounds. Admission to the 4-H Fair is free!
Everyone is working hard to make this year’s fair fun for the entire family and, of course, a little bit country. “We are very excited about this year’s theme: “Country Roots & Cowboy Boots!” and we are looking forward to showcasing our Country Roots plus seeing our 4-Hers’ achievements highlighted in their Fair Projects,” said Lisa McVey, President of the Cape May County 4-H Foundation and 4-H Fair Chair.
The 4-H Fair is a Cape May County tradition that offers family entertainment, live music – including Jimmy and The Parrots and The Fabulous Greaseband, and a nightly Chicken BBQ, sponsored by the Cape May County Board of Agriculture. Amusement rides, games, and a variety of vendors with delicious food and interesting items will keep the 4-H Fairground’s Midway buzzing with excitement.
Other fair favorites include livestock and equestrian shows, a children’s discovery farm, an art show and our popular Pet Show with the grand prize winner receiving a year’s supply of pet food donated by Smeltzer & Sons Feed & Pet Supplies.
The public hours for the 2025 Cape May County 4-H Fair are 3pm to 10pm. on Thursday, July 17, from 10am to 10pm on Friday, July 18 (with all vendors opening by 3pm), and 10am to 10pm on Saturday, July 19. The 4-H fairgrounds are located at 355 Court House – S. Dennis Road in Cape May Court House, New Jersey.
The Cape May County 4-H Fair is the major fundraising effort of the 4-H Foundation, Inc. It provides a showplace for the project work and accomplishments of the youth members of Rutgers Cooperative Extension’s 4-H Youth Development Program and a fun, family-oriented community gathering.
