Cape May Court House – Congratulations to the 2025 4-H Senior Equestrian of the Year, Julianna Romano.
Julianna, a 10th grade student at Cape May County Technical High School, is a three-year member of the 4-H youth development program. She belongs to the Star Hollow Riders and Teen Ambassadors 4-H Clubs and is a member of the Moonlight Riders 4-H Drill Team. Julianna is secretary of the Teen Ambassadors 4-H Club and recipient of the 2024 4-H Fair Equine Program Outstanding Sportsmanship Award. She is also a member of Future Farmers of America and volunteers at Starfish Equine Rescue in Cape May County.
Julianna said, “The 4-H equine program has made me into a better rider preparing me for anything that the equine industry has to offer. My growing knowledge of farm management will also prepare me for the day I choose to have my own farm. Plus, volunteering at Starfish Equine Rescue not only helped me to learn more about horses but also gave me my biggest role model, Abby Revoir, owner of the rescue and my 4-H club leader.”
Come see Julianna at the 2025 4-H Fair and Chicken Bar-B-Que on July 17, 18, and 19 on the 4-H Fairgrounds!
