Cape May County Family and Community Health Sciences Offers Program on DASH Diet
Cape May Court House, NJ – Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Family and Community Health Sciences (FCHS) will present the program, DASH Diet for Hypertension at 6pm on Thursday, February 5, 2026. This program will take place, both virtually and in-person, at the Ocean City Public Library, 1735 Simpson Avenue, Ocean City, NJ.
This program will be taught by Anneliese Kuemmerle, MS, RDN, FCHS Program Associate II and will focus on the DASH Diet. It will create an understanding of what the DASH Diet is, introduce the benefits of the DASH Diet and give tips on fitting the DASH Diet into your life. “I’m thrilled to share the basics of the DASH diet, highlight health benefits such as lowering blood pressure and supporting heart health, and provide simple and practical tips for weaving DASH-friendly choices into everyday life,” said Kuemmerle.
